Avalanche of Heritage Day activities at Tubatse Mall

Heritage Month was celebrated in true style at the Tubatse Crossing Centre with a line-up of festivities that catered for young and old.

Heritage Month was recently celebrated in style at the Tubatse Crossing Regional Shopping Centre in Burgersfort.

The mall lined up an avalanche of festivities from September 19 to 24.

The celebrations were held under the theme ‘Celebrate Your Identity’. The centre’s management team invited local exhibitors and several artists to entertain the shoppers. Among these was the well-known Limpopo artist, King Monada.

Saturday was the busiest of the days as soccer lovers watched the MTN 8 semi-final that pitted Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns against each other, as well as the Rugby World Cup crunch between the Springboks and Ireland.

Business was booming. Local businesses benefited as they erected their stalls outside the mall.

The centre’s management team thanked all the locals for supporting its Heritage Month festivities.

“You all made the event beautiful and successful. We would like to thank all our partners, including Burgersfort Social Market, Charcoal Events, Deep Sounds and more, for assisting us in hosting our annual heritage celebrations. We would also like to continue working closely with the locals.”

The team urged the public to follow the mall’s Facebook page to stay updated regarding competitions and events.

“The community must have a look at our posters and banners whenever they are shopping. We don’t want them to miss out on anything happening here. We are happy to have such events at the mall. They create a safe space for our people, a place where they can come and enjoy themselves.”
