Although not hunting for birdies, the lions can often be spotted on the fairways and greens.

Skukuza golf course, situated in the world-renowned Kruger National Park, is more than simply a golf course.

Some of the regular visitors are a pride of about 11 lions. On July 14 the lions were out and about, basking in the sunspots of a green. Jean Rossouw, the course’s greenkeeper, said that the lions have been coming to enjoy the course all throughout the week as well.

Among the pride were some cubs as well, playfully running around on the course. Some hyenas also joined the feline visitors.
