Man pulled from burning vehicle on R40

Had it not been for the paramedic who had pulled him from his burning vehicle, a man's fate might have been very different, following an accident on the R40.

A man was taken to hospital on the evening of June 13 after a motor vehicle collision on the corner of the R40 and Geelhout Avenue.

At about 22:00, Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the scene, which they described as horrific.

The emergency service said it found a BMW that had been in a high-speed accident. The car was severely damaged and on fire.
