Eight injured in accident on R537 between White River and Sabie

The spokesperson of the department of community safety, security and liaison has advised motorists to use alternative routes as the road is being cleared.

An incident involving a truck has been reported on the R537 between White River and Sabie on Delagoos pass this morning June 15. At least 16 were slightly injured.

According to the spokesperson of the department of community safety, security and liaison, Moeti Mmusi, the truck allegedly overturned and a heap of sand was dumped on the left lane, direction to White River.

“No fatalities have been reported and medical personnel are on scene.”

He said, “The department’s traffic officers are also on scene to redirect traffic. Motorists are advised to use alternative roads as the road is being cleared.”
