Tee off for improvement of Lydenburg

Exciting prizes are up for grabs at the golf day.

The Lydenburg Mashishing Business Chamber (LMBC), and the main sponsor, Morgan Nissan, will be hosting a golf day on May 25 to raise much-needed funds to improve conditions for the benefit of the local community and businesses.

The first tee-off is at 09:00. The LMBC uses the donations to pick up trash, mow long grass obstructing the roadside for motorists, and clean the entrances to the town. This is part of the Together We Can and We Care projects.

The LMBC needs the help of the broader community and business sector to make this golf day a success. About 60 golfers have already signed up, but there are a few more slots to be filled.

The format is an IPS fourball American scramble drive. The individual entry fee is R500 and includes halfway lunch and dinner. For a company to have a promotional stall at a tee or green is R4 000, including a fourball entry.

Should a company wish to display a promotional banner anywhere on the course, the cost is R3 000, including a fourball entry. Phone Chrismari Aucamp on 083 630 1529 for more information.
