A fire that broke out in a building in Anderson Street in Mbombela has been contained.
Calls reporting the fire were received at around 19:30.
Mbombela Fire and Rescue was still on the scene at 22:00, busy with the dampening process, but confirmed the fire had been extinguished.

The cause of the fire is still unknown. An investigation will be conducted.
Various services were on scene, including Mbombela Fire and Rescue units from Mbombela, White River and KaNyamazane, as well as law enforcement, emergency services, and security and CPF personnel.
