The Wonder of Clay at White River Art Gallery
The magical exhibition by Anton and Hanlie Bosch will be held at the White River Art Gallery until December 7.
Renowned for their beautiful and masterfully created ceramics, Lowveld husband and wife Anton and Hanlie Bosch recently launched their new exhibition, The Wonder of Clay – and what a wonder it was.
The exhibition is currently on at the White River Art Gallery and will continue until December 7.
Speaking to Lowvelder, Anton said it took him and his wife around a year to compile all the pieces that are on display in the gallery.

Some of them weigh up to 80kg while other special techniques have been used to create the most magical designs. Anton said the inspiration for the pieces comes from the couple’s immediate surroundings such as their garden and the several owls that frequent it.
“The turnout to the opening was fantastic and everyone was very kind. I felt people really appreciated the exhibition,” he said.
People are encouraged to view the exhibition before it ends in a week’s time in order to fully appreciate and enjoy the wide range of creations.
