Stepping back in country time at Blue Moon
Despite one of their own not being able to take to the stage, national country legends made an outing for one and all worthwhile.
Blue Moon catered for a slightly older crowd this past weekend with country music legends welcomed onstage.
With hits from as long ago as the 1960s, the singers entertained the audience with half-hour sets each, starting at 15:00 on Saturday.

Barbara Ray, Clive Bruce, Billy Forrest, Lee Magnum, Nadine Burness and Manie Jackson were all there. Tommy Dell was also set to join the group, but could not make it as he had suffered some health issues recently.
Forrest asked those in attendance to spare a prayer for both Dell and Manuel Escorcio, who was recently admitted to hospital with poor health, when laying their heads on their pillows that evening. “Only the Lord can carry them through.”
