Driving Licence Testing Centres (DLTCs) has extend working hours for license renewal

Motorists are encouraged to renew their licences during the extended working hours.

The DLTC in Mpumalanga has extended the working hours at its 13 centres until May 5 to accommodate motorists to renew their drivers licences. MEC for the Department of Community Safety Security and Liaison, Vusi Shongwe, said the centres will be open from 08:00 to 18:00. The 30-day grace period for holders of driving licence cards that expired between March 26, 2020 and August 31, 2021, have until May 5 to renew them. ALSO

“I am appealing to motorists to take advantage of the extended deadlines and working hours that have been allocated so that they do not miss the opportunity. It is important for every driver whose licence has expired to visit their nearest DLTC to renew while they still have time,” says Shongwe. The arrangement is applicable to the following DLTCs:
