The Best of Mbombela is back!
The much-anticipated Best of Mbombela Readers' Choice Awards 2021, which celebrates the best of the best of the region, is back.
The city is limitless when it comes to possibilities. There is something to do, eat, drink or buy every day of the week. The Best of Mbombela Readers’ Choice Awards celebrates all this and more, but it also gives you the chance to tell us what and who is the best of the best.
Best of Mbombela 2021 will this year boast eight main categories: Living in Mbombela, Shopping in Mbombela, Dining Out in Mbombela, Eat, Drink and Be Merry, Glam in Mbombela, Kids in Mbombela, and Motoring.

To accompany these, 93 subcategories will be present so every reader can choose to nominate their favourite businesses in Mbombela and surrounds. The nomination process will be open from February 10 to 27 at midnight. This year, all businesses in the City of Mbombela region will be eligible.
To nominate a candidate, simply head to Lowvelder.co.za, click on “Promotions” on the main page, then click on “Nominate your Best of Mbombela Candidates”.
Once you are on the nomination page, you can click on the category you wish to nominate in and it will navigate you to the nomination page of that category. There you will be asked to enter the name and location of the business or branch. Enter your own email address so the nomination will be valid and to confirm that the business is in the City of Mbombela municipal area.
Only valid email addresses will be accepted. Readers may nominate with the same email address only once a day. Once the nominations have been counted, the voting process for Best of Mbombela will start on April 7 and close on May 8 at midnight.
