Gospel artist is counting his blessings

The new year has kicked off with a great start for a local gospel artist, Blessing Mnisi.

He and his wife, Nokuthula, welcomed their new baby, Anteo, on January 5.

In addition to this new blessing, they also have two older children, Theo (7) and Nhlelo (5). Mnisi was one of the artists invited to perform at the Thanksgiving Worship on Saturday January 8.

His passion for music grew when he started working closely with people like Bp Benjamin Dube, the late Vuyo Mokoena and Keke. He has also shared the stage with entertainment greats such as Sipho Makhabane, Lucas Maloma, Bukiwe Twani, Takie Ndou, Ayanda Ntanzi and Sylvester Mamize.

Mnisi has performed in eSwatini, in Mozambique, and at several gospel festivals. Mnisi’s debut single, “No Weapon”, was released on October 20.

“My gospel career is growing by leaps and bounds and I am so thankful to God and my family. Success is not possible without putting in hard work and dedication. I hope to release a full album in the near future and am looking forward to many more performances across the country,” said Mnisi.

He performed at the Thanks Giving Worship event recently in Mbombela.
