AutoTrader had 401 million online searches in 2019, that is 40 percent up year-on-year. The average selling price in 2019 was R289 312 – this was an increase of R9 003 compared to 2018.
The AutoTrader report, reflects in detail, not just info on various models, but also variants and trim levels within the ranges of vehicles and the importance of this for South African buyers. “It goes without saying that 2020 has probably been one of the most challenging years in the history of the automotive business. We have been on a roller-coaster ride.”
