Mbombela – A silver Polo hatchback crashed through a wall on the Old Pretoria Road at high speed. Emer-G- Med’s medical rescue team responded swiftly, but the driver was declared dead on the scene.

The doomed vehicle knocked down a palm tree and came to a standstill on its side next to another palm tree, with glass lying shattered around the vehicle.
The exact reason for the lethal crash and the identity of the deceased who rolled the vehicle are currently unknown but are being investigated.
Provincial safety, security and liaison spokesperson, Moeti Mmusi has yet to comment on the horrific accident.
