MALALANE – This past Sunday teams continued to fight for top position in the Ehlanzeni Regional SAB League at various stadiums in the Nkomazi subregion. Fourteen squads competed at seven stadiums and the league games all started at 15:00. Despite having home-ground advantage Magogeni Classic failed to grab a victory when they took on Naughty Boys at the Magogeni Open Field. Naughty Boys succeed in defeating their opponents with a 2-1-scoreline. Love and Peace took on Blue Birds in Sebokeng, Block C. Blue Birds had their wings clipped with a close 1-0-loss at the feet of Love and Peace. Driekoppies Barcelona played to a one-all draw when they clashed with Mthatha Peace Maker, at Joseph Mathebula Secondary School. Mdladla Black Movers outclassed their visitors when they hosted KaMhlushwa Real Madrid at Mdladla Stadium. The Movers pulled off an impressive 4-2-victory. KaMhlushwa City Stars took on Sambo Block B United at KaMhlushwa Stadium, Sambo Block B United grabbed a 3-0-victory. Magogeni Liverpool registered a spindly 1-0-win over Buffelspruit All Blacks, when they clashed at the Buffelspruit Stadium.
