LYDENBURG – CANSA Lydenburg will officially launch the CANSA Relay for Life on Wednesday August 5 at NG Kerk-Suid. The community is invited to be part of this exciting event.
According to chairman of the Lydenburg branch, Isobel Janse van Rensburg, people who want to be part of the launch have to book in advance. “There is no entrance fee and everyone is invited,” she said.
Relay For Life is a unique event that offers everyone in the community the opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. It embraces various communities from the very young to the old.
If you are interested to attend, call Janse van Rensburg before 12:00 on Tuesday August 4. “We need to know how many people will attend before Wednesday in order to finalise our catering.
“The community will have the opportunity to know what to expect during the Relay For Life which will be held in October,” she added.
“We would like to urge everyone to attend the launch because CANSA needs support from the public.”
