WORLDWIDE – There are less than 30, 000 rhinos remaining on earth, of which one is poached every 8 hours. This means that rhinos could go extinct in 15 years.
The San Diego Zoo have added momentum to the war against poaching by launching a #Rally4Rhinos initiative.
YOU can be part in this worldwide effort to create awareness. Here’s how:
- Write “Stop Killing Rhinos” on your hand and post a photo of it on Instagram or Twitter with the #Rally4Rhinos hashtag.
- Follow the San Diego Zoo and Lowveld Media’s War Against Poaching Facebook pages.
- Share these pages with your Facebook friends.
This may motivate those who are able to donate towards legitimate anti rhino-poaching organisations.
