Baby rhino’s survival depends on local wildlife vet (video)

Well-known wildlife vet Dr Cobus Raath of the Lowveld recently featured on Smithsonian Channel. The crew paid a visit to him to see how he cares for an orphaned rhino which had been shot by poachers.

The video contains interesting facts on rhino. Did you know that these animals don’t have sweat glands? That is why they need to take mud baths to help regulate their body temperatures.
