Sweet memories of an icon

Mandela Day will be celebrated all over the world today and employees of various local organisations will be spending 67 minutes of their time to improve the live of the less fortunate.

Juan Ramsauer of SPAR has created this delicious, beautiful 1×1 metre cake to commemorate the late icon Nelson Mandela.

The retailer has decided to do its bit for charity by donating the cake to Woodlands Preschool in Mataffin. It will fill several empty tummies.
