ANC loses three seats in legislature

The Bushbuckridge Residents Association (BRA) also won a seat in the local legislature.

MBOMBELA – The ANC won the election by a landslide, but still lost three seats in the Mpumalanga Legislature. Nationally, the party also lost 15 seats in the National Assembly.

The Independent Electoral Commission announced on Saturday night that the ANC won 24 seats provincially and the DA won three (one up from 2009). Newcomers Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and Bushbuckridge Residents Association (BRA) won two and one seats, respectively.
