Give yourself the edge by empowering your business

Wilkinson also mentioned that in order for businesses to thrive they should prioritise developing a holistic model that covers the needs of their customers.

MBOMBELA – International speaker, Mr David Wilkinson spoke about how to sharpen marketplace edge during a networking breakfast session at the Mercure Hotel recently.

The session was hosted by the Global Equipping Centre and was aimed at empowering business people on how they can pre-screen potential clients and make them their long-time customers. The centre also offers executive coaching, seminars, leadership and managerial courses, and motivational speaking.

According to Wilkinson, business people often find that competitors copy what they do, which creates an identity crisis. “A lot of business people are not unique, hence it becomes difficult for most of them to thrive,” he said.

Wilkinson also mentioned that in order for businesses to thrive they should prioritise developing a holistic model that covers the needs of their customers.

“We have received tremendous feedback from people who have implemented our techniques. It has proved to be very effective and time and again we advise business people to use the coaching,” he said.

To prove that his coaching works, Wilkinson himself has personally launched 22 multinational companies, with up to

R300 million generated in revenue. According to him, seminars also help entrepreneurs think differently and have a positive approach in business.

Wilkinson now lives in the United States, but still makes an effort to visit the Lowveld every three months. Even his Lowveld business partner, Mr James Rice, has fully commended him for his expertise when it comes to business coaching.

He also advised potential entrepreneurs to attend business expos, business breakfasts and golf outings to grow their business networks.

This, he said, also assists in the marketing of products, services and concepts. The workshop also touched on how to increase performance by unlocking professional personality. He coached attendants on how to achieve better results, capture customers through innovative marketing and manage personalities to create an environment conducive to doing business.
