Goshawk take the honours

With 1337 points, Goshawk was crowned winners of Penryn College's interhouse which took place on Tuesday.

The house’s Miguel Delgado of u/15 boys excelled in, among others, shot put, discus and javelin. He took home two gold medals and one silver for javelin but his throw of 12,10 metres in shot put, bagged him 722 points. The girls u/15’s Ashley Kellar had all the attention when she took the first spot for her massive long jump of 4,40 metres. Ashley also obtained gold in the 800 and 400 metres. She received a bronze medal in the 100 metres.

Harrier’s Janka van Zyl made her mark right at the start of her high school career when she registered a distance of 4,23 metres in long jump.
