LMACS’s donation a saving grace for Mbombela baby haven

This week's LMACS event will be the third of its kind.

The Lowveld Medical Arts and Culture Society (LMACS) has made yet another donation to a local charity ahead of its gala evening this weekend.

On Monday, September 9, it handed over a cheque to the value of R35 000 to the Grace Baby Haven, having already made a donation to Nelspruit Hospice.

This weekend’s LMACS gala evening is the third event of its kind and will take place on Saturday, September 14.
Well-known winemaker Beyers Truter is bringing along Abrie Beeslaar, an award-winning winemaker from Kanonkop, who was recognised internationally for the Paul Sauer 2015 red blend.

GT Lundie, who recently won first place in the worldwide Chaîne des Rôtisseurs’ World Chaine Day Competition, will serve world-class cuisine.

The music programme caters across all genres, from classical to pop music like Coldplay and Billy Joel’s hits, mixed with a bit of Afrikaans and even a boeremusiek number, all performed by local medical doctors, specialists, dentists, dieticians and physiotherapists. A limited number of items will also be auctioned.

It is a not-to-be missed evening and tickets can be bought on Quicket. For enquiries, send a WhatsApp to Louise Fouché on 082 453 4543.
