Numbi Primary treats mums and daughters like queens and princesses

These mothers and daughters were afforded an opportunity to spend some fun time together.

Numbi Primary in Hazyview embraced the special bond between mothers and their daughters during its Queens and Princesses High Tea event at the school on August 31.

The mothers and daughters were spoilt for a bit; they walked up a red carpet, posed for special photos and enjoyed an excellent meal. It was indeed a day to remember as these mums were honoured.

They participated in various activities to assist with bonding and to nurture the relationship between mother and daughter. Carlyle Smith gave an inspiring Christian message and encouraged the mums to stay strong for their children and the communities in which they live. She also reminded them to always protect their daughters from anything that might harm them, and to support them to fulfil their dreams.

The school’s management thanked the staff who made the event a huge success and, most importantly, the mothers who attended the function.
