LSL netball team cliches third place in SA

The tournament featured top teams from across the country, each vying for the coveted title.

The U13A netball team of Laerskool Lydenburg (LSL) has made waves in the sporting community by clinching an impressive third place overall at the recent SA Netball Championships in Randburg, which was held from July 18 to 20.

The journey to the championships was no small feat for the team, which was comprised of a group of passionate young players who dedicated countless hours to practise and develop their skills throughout the season. Under the guidance of their experienced coaches, the girls honed their skills in various positions.

The tournament featured top teams from across the country, each vying for the coveted title.

LSL’s principal, Cornelus Lemmer, was one of the U13A’s biggest supporters and attended the event, making sure to cheer on the team during their games, while coaches Helloise Oosthuizen and Monique Steyn assisted with support from the courtsides.

The school said that they are extremely proud of the team’s achievement and look forward to see these players excel in future events.
