IN PHOTOS: Lowveld Media and sponsors make a tangible difference on Mandela Day
Your favourite local media house teamed up with several local businesses to put a smile on many faces in commemoration of the internationally renowned icon, Nelson Mandela.
Lowveld Media and several local businesses conducted some community outreaches in commemoration of Nelson Mandela International Day today, July 18.
The team went beyond spending 67 Minutes for Mandela and visited some homes and orphanages such as Betty’s Haven in Mbombela, Millennium Home of Hope, House of Faith, Love & Hope and Katoen in White River.

With this year’s Mandela Day celebrated under the theme ‘It’s still in our hands to combat poverty and inequality’, food items were donated and some fruit trees were planted at some of the homes.
