Lowvelder Golf Challenge number five lies in wait at Mbombela Golf Club

Mbombela Golf Club will once again play host to the Lowvelder Golf Challenge, with the fifth edition of the competition set to be held on Wednesday June 12.

The fifth instalment of the Lowvelder Golf Challenge is all set to hit the greens of Mbombela Golf Club on June 12, so be sure to start packing your golf bag and dusting off your golf shoes.

Presented by Lowvelder in partnership with Octopi Smart Solutions and Du Toit-Smuts & Partners Attorneys, the Lowvelder Golf Challenge is a series of 10 monthly competitions. Next week’s will mark the halfway point for the inaugural series, and it will also qualify golfers who’ve taken part in every edition thus far for the overall prize.

To be considered for this, participants must have played a minimum of five of the competitions. If you’ve taken part in more than five, then your five best scores will count towards your overall eligibility when the series wraps up with the finale in November.

Each competition is played in the individual Stableford format. This evens the playing field significantly as players need to rack up points instead of aiming to shoot the lowest score possible.

There is no designated tee time on the day. All you have to do is book and play a round of golf at Mbombela Golf Club on the day in order to take part. The fifth challenge will be held on Wednesday June 12.
