Two injured in accident on R2296 to KaNyamazane
The driver of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter lost control of it when its prop shaft broke. It hit a rock and rolled, moderately injuring the two occupants.
A father and a daughter were rushed to Rob Ferreira Hospital after they were involved in car accident that occurred on the R2296 to KaNyamanzane. Martin Jeffrey of Emer-G-Med said they had responded to a call that a minibus taxi had rolled.

“Upon our arrival, we found a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter had rolled after its prop shaft had broken, causing the driver to lose control and hitting a rock. Two patients were found, a father and daughter with moderate injuries. They were assessed, treated and transported to the hospital for the further medical treatment,” he said.
The police are currently on the scene controlling the traffic; motorists are advised to use alternative roads to avoid delays.
