SPAR Easter Egg Hunt fever grips Lowveld

Some lucky Lowvelders won big with the Lowvelder SPAR Easter Egg Hunt Campaign. Lowvelder spoke to some of the winners, some of whom bought multiple newspapers in their hunt for the golden egg stickers.

The Lowvelder SPAR Easter Egg Hunt Campaign spread oodles of joy and cheer across the Lowveld last Wednesday morning, March 20, while encouraging residents to embark on a fun hunt for several golden egg stickers hidden in a few Lowvelders at selected SPARs.

With R28 000 in SPAR vouchers to be won, Lowvelder gathered in its numbers at various Mbombela schools and SPARs, handing out papers and chocolates, letting parents and children know about the epic prizes to be won.

The lucky winners saw themselves claim a R3 000 SPAR voucher, compliments of SPAR. However, SPAR made sure not to leave out the Lowvelders who could not make it to the shops on Wednesday morning, ensuring they also got the chance to participate in the hunt by adding a newspaper to one of their SPAR2U deliveries.

In addition to the campaign run in the stores, Lowvelder and SPAR also held an Easter campaign on social media, where four R500 SPAR vouchers for the Lowveld’s children were up for grabs, as well as an additional five R1 000 SPAR vouchers.

Lowvelder spoke to some of the lucky winners, some of whom had bought multiple newspapers at SPARs to up their chances of finding the golden Easter egg.
The first winner, a father of 12, Sipho Derrick Masinga, purchased his weekly paper at Westend SUPERSPAR last Wednesday morning, where he found a golden egg.

He stated that the prize would be of great help during the Easter season, and that he intends to use it to purchase food for his family, ensuring a joyful Easter holiday for him and all his children.
