Alleged robber killed in Sabie
A robber was allegedly shot dead by police, one was arrested, and two are on the run.
A business robbery took place at Cash and Carry Sabie on December 30.
About four suspects stormed into the shop and held the victims at gunpoint.
The suspects robbed the business owner of undisclosed amount of cash, whereafter they fled the scene.
Members of the Sabie Police Station were alerted and quickly responded.
The suspects were spotted by the police.

The police chased the suspects, who fired at them. The police returned fire.
One suspect was fatally shot, and another was shot in the upper leg.
The wounded suspect was taken to hospital for medical treatment, under police guard.
A 9mm pistol and about 11 rounds of ammunition were found on the deceased.
The other suspects managed to evade arrest and are still at large.

The Independent Police Investigative Directorate will investigate the shooting incident.
The police are on the track of the two other suspects and members of the public are urged to assist with any information that may lead to their arrest by calling the Crime Stop number at 086 001 0111.
