Lowvelder’s Got Talent hosts Mbombela-based workshop in the run-up to exam season

The objective of the workshop was to provide an opportunity to some Lowvelder's Got Talent participants to get a few study tips from an industry specialist, to help them prepare better for the year-end exams.

Some of our Lowvelder’s Got Talent candidates who participated in our coaching and development programme, recently had the privilege of attending a workshop sponsored by the respected Manus du Toit of Ignite Potential.

The objective of the workshop was to provide an opportunity to some of our Lowvelder’s Got Talent participants to get a few study tips from an industry specialist in order to help them prepare better for the year-end exams at hand.

Lowvelder’s Got Talent not only supports achievements and creates platforms of exposure in the performing arts arena, but also encourages balance in all aspects of life. This includes, but is not limited to, academics, sports, culture and community involvement.

Du Toit brings a wealth of knowledge through brain profiles and can offer guidance with regards to the following topics: correct study methods, response to stress, intellectual preferences, attitude and motivation, brain diets and providing an understanding of the brain quadrants and their effects.

Gabriella de Aveiro, one of the Lowvelder’s Got Talent attendees, said she loved how she learnt to use her creativity through the brain hooking method to help memorise, and added that she would apply this in her everyday life to achieve her goals.

“The mind maps and brain fitness exercise techniques were a game changer for me,” Nicole Mabuza said.
