Grace Family Fellowship to attempt golfing world record in Mbombela

Sponsorships are needed for 12 local golfers who will play 1 000 holes in just 12 hours at Mbombela Golf Club on March 16 and 17.

On March 16, Grace Family Fellowship will attempt to set a new global record on the golf course when they hosting their first-ever 1 000-hole golf charity event at Mbombela Golf Club.

Twelve local players will attempt to play 1 000 holes in just 12 hours, and will be on the golf course from 06:00 right through to 18:00 to do so.

“We are the trailblazers!” Kelvin Fincham of Grace Family Fellowship, and organiser of the event, said.

Grace Family Fellowship is calling on businesses and individuals to sponsor any one of the 12 players. If you sponsor one player for R50 or more per hole, you will receive two free tee boxes on March 16 and 17, as well as a fourball at 50% off. A sponsorship of R100 or more will get you two free tees and no playing fees. The latter offer is valid for March 17.

On D-day, after the long day of golf, the players and sponsors will enjoy a meal at the club. At only R70 per person, you can also enjoy a scrumptious two-course meal.

Currently, the players are sitting at 25% of their sponsorship goal, and therefore, any additional support and sponsorships are welcome. If you think about it, it’s a win-win! You help them set a record, you are part of the trailblazers (and history) as well, and you get to enjoy a day of golf at discount prices!
