2021 TRACN4 Rally headed to Dullstroom
Dullstroom is set to come alive later this month when South Africa’s top rally teams take over the region of eMakhazeni for the 2021 TRACN4 Rally of South Africa.
This is the second consecutive year that TRAC takes the high velocity, adrenaline-pumping motorsport event to this region of Mpumalanga with this year’s race not only being the final leg of the 2021 South African National Rally Championship series, but also forming part of the prestigious FIA African Rally Championship (ARC).
The FIA (which enables professional and amateur drivers to live their passion in the Sub-Saharan region) held its first event in 1981. The ARC is now in its 40th season and features some legendary gravel events across stunning African landscapes which this year will include the 2021 TRACN4 Rally of South Africa in Dullstroom.
All rallies that formed part of this year’s NRC series have been staged as double-headers, thus making the 2021 TRACN4 Rally of South Africa rounds seven and eight of the series. The theme for this year’s TRAC rally is “Going All Out in SA”, which is in line with the Proudly African sentiment felt by TRAC and the rally fraternity.
Some of the SA Rally Championships’ top drivers will be back in action in Dullstroom on the weekend of November 26 as well as some of the continent’s most talented rally teams, with several African teams confirming their attendance.
Spectators are welcome to attend this year’s event Covid restrictions permitting which is sure to spur on all the competitors to perform even better!
