Group robbed, tied up, at lookout point in Steiltes

The four were at the cross in Steiltes when two men held them at gunpoint on Sunday afternoon.

Twin brothers, Jordan and Matthew Prinsloo (21), along with two others, escaped with their lives after allegedly being tied up and held at gunpoint on Sunday afternoon.

According to them the incident happened around 15:00 at the well-known lookout point in Steiltes, known as Die Kruis.

During an interview with Lowvelder, the duo said that they were robbed of their personal belongings. After also being stolen initially, their vehicle was later found abandoned at the scene.

Although the exact details of the incident are not clear yet, it is alleged that they were tied up, but were able to untie themselves to get help, escaping with a few scratches.
