Emnotweni Casino and Hotels, Lowveld Media, Riverside Mall and Riverside Park are inviting the community to participate in their effort to collect clothing, linen and blankets as part of an extended 67 Minutes for Nelson Mandela Day campaign.

These leading business entities in the Lowveld set up a charity washing line that will be used to collect clothing, linen and blankets from July 18 to 30. The washing line was set up on Mandela Day, July 18.

The clothing donated will be distributed to several beneficiaries chosen by the Lowveld community.

Michelle Higgo, the general manager of Emnotweni StayEasy and Southern Sun Hotels, said, “We understand that
the demand for help is big, but we believe that with the aid of our community we can truly make a difference in the lives of those in need”.
