Nelspruit SPCA temporarily closed due to Covid-19 case

The Nelspruit SPCA announced yesterday that one of its members had tested positive for the virus.

Following the announcement that a member of the SPCA team had tested positive, the organisation informed the public that its facility would be closed for three days.

Other members of the team are still awaiting their test results.

The society requested the help of the community to assist in the disinfecting of the premises, and Fog Itt Africa heeded its call. The area was disinfected and cleaned yesterday morning.

The SPCA took to Facebook to thank its sanitising saviours.

Although the kennels are closed to the public, the organisation will still respond to emergencies and cruelty calls. Adoptions will resume next week.
