70th Lowveld Interhigh now just around the corner
Lowveld High will host this spectacular event on Saturday February 23.
In less than two weeks, the Lowveld’s finest will head to Lowveld High for this year’s Mediclinic Nelspruit Interhigh.
70th Mediclinic Nelspruit Interhigh
This year, it will cross the exciting milestone of 70 years of existence. Lowveld High’s acting head, Willem Steyn, said that everything is in place and the excitement is tangible.
“We are 90 per cent done with the arrangements and look forward to hosting the cream of the crop. We are now busy with the final touches and let me tell you, there are tones of surprises in store. Watch this space,” he said.

The participating schools are Lowveld High School, Hoërskool Nelspruit, Hoërskool Bergvlam, Hoërskool Rob Ferreira, Hoërskool Lydenburg, Penryn College and Hoërskool Barberton.
Tickets for the 70th Mediclinic Nelspruit Interhigh athletics meeting are now available at participating schools.

The cheerleaders have been chosen and are currently getting ready for the big day.
About 3 000 pupils, over 1 000 athletes, and scores of spectators, between 8 000 and 10 000, are expected to be in attendance at this prestigious event.
Spectators are advised to buy a ticket in advance to prevent long queues on the day of the event. Tickets are limited and sell for R50 a seat. A parking ticket is R30. Gates will open at 05:30.
Spectators are urged to buy tickets for parking and refreshments before the event.
A variety of stalls, including food trucks by Eskort Butchery and Picasso’s Mexican Taqueria, will be available.
