Treats galore to leave you spoiled for choice

People have travelled from far and wide to be part of the Bosmôl at the 2016 Innibos National Arts Festival.

Muskiet went along to catch a bit of the set-up action and found much to be excited about. From fun rides to recycled goodies and caramel treats to colourful cocktails, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Petro Bruwer, from Proppies van Afrika, said she has been coming to Innibos from Hartbeespoort for many years and still finds it the best of the large South African festivals.

“The vibe and the organisation of this event is remarkable. We just love coming back each year,” she said.

Petro’s merchandise is mostly made from recycled bottle caps which are made into key rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

There are also several other stalls which will be selling recycled products, from bags and hats to coffee tables and wine and biltong bags.

For those looking for something on the refreshment side, there are too many food and drink options to count.

Karen Opperman and Chivaughn Blignaut have come to the Bosmôl with there Original Cocktails and are enjoying the warm weather in Mbombela. They are hoping it will work in their favour as festivalgoers will look for something cool to drink.

“Coming from Johannesburg, this is like summer for us. We hope lots of people will be paying our stall a visit this week,” said Chivaughn.
