The X-Men are back to save the future

It has an IMDb rating of 9.3 which puts it in front of giants like Shawshank Redemption and 1972 film, The Godfather which secures its number one spot.

The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class in an epic battle that must change the past – to save our future.

The X-Men send Wolverine to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that results in doom for both humans and mutants.

In 1962, the United States government enlists the help of Mutants with superhuman abilities to stop a malicious dictator who is determined to start world war III.

This is a very well directed and well acted movie with good pacing, great CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) effects and epic soundtrack. What more can you expect from a superhero movie? X-Men might be a favorite superhero movie amongst fans, but Days of Future Past might be the best of them. It’s an all star movie with a good director (everything not related to professionalism is irrelevant), in paper it’s guaranteed to be at least a decent movie and is sure to surpass all expectations.

The movie is rated PG- 13 for sequences of intense sci-fi violence and action, some suggestive material, nudity and language.
