One dead, 12 injured in accident on KaNyamazane road
A taxi driver lost his life and 12 people suffered injuries in an accident on the KaNyamazane road. It is closed at this stage.
The KaNyamazane road is currently closed following an accident wherein a driver reportedly lost control of his taxi.
Emer-G-Med responded to the scene this morning, April 19, after receiving a call about a motor vehicle accident at around 07:55.
According to Emer-G-Med, the accident occurred just before the Emkhatsini Sasol Plaza Karino, in the direction of Tekwane South.

“On arrival, it was discovered that a minibus taxi had lost control and rolled. There were several injuries on scene, totalling 12 patients, all of whom were transported to hospital by various EMS services, including Emer-G-Med.
“Unfortunately the driver of the taxi succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead on our arrival.”
The emergency service confirmed the road was closed while the SAPS is on the scene.
