Hospice White River receives large donation
Thanks to two rotary clubs, a much-needed donation to Hospice White River was made possible.
Hospice White River was recently on the receiving end of a massive R91 500 donation.
The Rotary Club of White River said it was thrilled to have been able to hand over the donation cheque.
“Part of these funds was raised by us recently hosting a musical picnic. A very big thank you must go to the Rotary Club of Austin, Texas who have so generously partnered with us in donating largely towards the training of staff and the setting up of their palliative care programme.”

Hospice gave a very big heartfelt thank you to the rotary clubs for this amazing donation.
“This money will be put towards getting our accreditation as well as the training of a few well-selected candidates at our new palliative care training centre,” the organisation said.
