JJ Peters’ case scheduled in Nelspruit Regional Court
Peters is accused of killing his grandmother, Sannie Strydom Kilmister (68), in February this year.
JJ Peters, suspected of killing his grandmother earlier this year, will make his first appearance in the Nelspruit Regional Court on October 28.
The provincial spokesperson for the National Prosecuting Authority, Monica Nyuswa, said the case passed all screening processes at the district court and is set for trial at the regional court in the City.

“His first appearance in the regional court will be on October 28. A date for his trial will then be set. During the first appearance, Peters will be asked to plead to all the charges he is facing. The defence and the state will thereafter commence with the trial,” she said.
Peters is accused of murdering his grandmother, Sannie Strydom Kilmister (68), on February 28. Kilmister was allegedly strangled by Peters, who had been sharing her house on a smallholding in the Cromdale area.

She was found dead in her bedroom with bruise marks on her neck and blood spatters on her pillow.
