Golfing success leads to all smiles

A golf day was held to assist a local resident, Willem Jacobs, to have his teeth fixed. The fundraising sport event was held at Tubatse Chrome Club on Saturday July 2.

According to the organisers, Jacobs has always wished to have his teeth fixed, but because of financial challenges, he was never able to do so. IVSS Services and Tubatse Chrome Club assisted in organising the golf day on behalf of Jacobs. All proceeds will be used to assist in his teeth procedures. “The event was a huge success and we are proud to announce that Willem is on the road to getting his teeth fixed,” said another organiser, Izelle van Staden.

“I am very grateful to every single person who has donated towards this and would like to thank each and every person who has helped to make the golf day a success,” said Jacobs.

“IVSS Services would also like to thank everyone who stepped in to help and opened their hearts to Jacobs. We appreciate every donation and we cannot wait to see him smile with confidence,” said the management. Among the sponsors were Wildebeeskraal Boerdery, Ctegc ISP, Goldbroz, GHH Machines, Pilgrim’s Rest Golf Club, Dwayne Daniels, Didingwe River Lodge, Tubatse Smelters, Pro Shop, Neil Murray, Remax, Build It and many more. Steelburger/Lydenburg News will keep in touch with Jacobs to update the community about the progress and the road that lies ahead.
