Dr Enos Mabuza Drive to be completed by May 2022
The date for completion of upgrades to Dr Enos Mabuza drive has been confirmed as mid-May this year.
The City of Mbombela (CoB) municipal spokesperson, Joseph Ngala, said that the upgrades along the road were progressing well despite a few delays toward the end of December last year and in January.
Ngala said the intersection at Johanna Drive has been completed as well as the the pavements.
“Approximately 550 metres has been completed and surfaced. The outstanding work is the laying of pavement. This work will be completed on March 11 this year,” said Ngala.

He added that the municipality and White Hazy Construction, the contractor, were waiting for cables to be moved from under one of the lanes on Dr Enos Mabuza Drive, but expected them to be removed on March 11.
“The municipality is happy with the progress made,” said Ngala.
