IN PHOTOS: Fundraiser to aid those in need
This fundraiser has helped both the The Meyer Beukes Warriors on Wheels Foundation as well as the Mpumalanga Association for Persons with Disabilities to continue with the worthwhile work that they do.
The Greek Kouzina’s manager, Gerald Furber, handed over a cheque on September 22 of the proceeds made during The Battle of Troy event to The Meyer Beukes Warriors on Wheels Foundation.
Receiving the check was Kylah Beukes of Warriors on Wheels and Steven Mthombeni and Cicilia Janse van Rensburg of the Mpumalanga Association for Persons with Disabilities.
Beukes said a big thank you to Chris Liebenberg and Deon Dennis of The Greek Kouzina, and to each and every person who attended the event, as well as all those who sponsored, contributed and participated.
“We are so grateful to have had you as part of this fundraiser. You have no idea how much you contributed towards our worthy cause. You have helped both the foundation as well as the association to continue with the worthwhile work that we do.”
