Uitkyk Road crime under spotlight again as another lodge is robbed

A robbery took place this morning at about 08:00 in the Renosterkop area on the Uitkyk Road.

The victim was taking inventory at the Lizard Rock lodge when a white Toyota bakkie with about five men pulled up. One of them was dressed in a police uniform. The men stated they were busy with an investigation.

Upon entering onto the property, they tied up the victim and robbed the business of some cash.

They then took him to his house, located a few hundred metres from the lodge, where they tied up his wife and robbed them of other valuables.
