Covid-19: Mpumalanga’s positive cases as of November 3

South Africa has recorded 728 836 confirmed infections, according to an announcement by the minister of health, Dr Zweli Mkhize, on Tuesday, November 3. A total of 29 913 of those cases have been reported in Mpumalanga.

According to data released by the Mpumalanga Department of Health, there have been 28 719 recoveries and 606 deaths to date.

The number of positive cases in the province can be broken down as follows:

Ehlanzeni District

• Bushbuckridge: 1 231 cases, 1 125 recoveries and 21 deaths
• City of Mbombela: 5 855 cases, 5 584 recoveries and 61 deaths
• Nkomazi: 2 252 cases, 2 174 recoveries and 41 deaths
• Thaba Chweu: 511 cases and 460 recoveries and 13 deaths.

Gert Sibande District

• Chief Albert Luthuli: 820 cases, 781 recoveries and 20 deaths
• Dipaliseng: 345 cases and 328 recoveries and 15 deaths
• Dr Pixely Ka Isaka Seme: 975 cases, 944 recoveries and 18 deaths
• Govan Mbeki: 3 777 cases, 3 689 recoveries and 60 deaths
• Lekwa: 1 187 cases, 1 112 recoveries and 60 deaths
• Mkhondo: 599 cases, 549 recoveries and 29 deaths
• Msukaligwa: 1 749 cases, 1 670 recoveries and 46 deaths.

Nkangala District

• Dr JS Moroka: 409 cases, 396 recoveries and nine deaths
• eMakhazeni: 479 cases and 456 recoveries and 17 deaths
• eMalahleni: 5 691 cases, 5 550 recoveries and 103 deaths
• Steve Tshwete: 2 901 cases, 2 805 recoveries and 63 deaths
• Thembisile Hani: 667 cases, 641 recoveries and 20 deaths
• Victor Khanye: 465 cases and 455 recoveries and 10 deaths.
