Hit-and-run accused is granted bail

The accused, Johan Louwrens, was granted R1,500 bail in the Nelspruit District Court.

MBOMBELA – Johan Louwrens (23), who faces charges of culpable homicide after a hitand-run which claimed the life of local businesswoman, Letisia Niemann (38) almost two weeks ago, appeared in Court B at the Nelspruit District Court on Wednesday for his bail application.

Letisia Niemann sustained fatal injuries in the accident.

The Steelpoort resident was granted bail of R1 500 and is due back in court on November 29.
