WATCH: R37 roadblock outside Mbombela cleared
The R37 was closed from the early hours of Wednesday morning. Truck drivers celebrated when the protesters opened the road.
The R37 outside Mbombela leading to the Lydenburg/Sabie junction is now opened, after a protest action by local subcontractors ended here on Wednesday morning.
They have several demands, including the removal of the project manager and social facilitator of ENZA. The two are currently working at the Mpumalanga International Fresh Produce Market.

They had closed the stretch of the road between the Mpumalanga International Fresh Produce Market and past the Alkmaar/Fish Eagle turnoff.
About 20 trucks, along with tractors and trailers, were parked across the road, making it impossible to enter Mbombela or exiting it using the R37.
