Witnesses sought after hit-and-run in Mbombela

MBOMBELA – Bossies Community Justice (BCJ) said it is believed she had been hit by a vehicle. The vehicle sped off.

Martin Jeffrey from Emer-G-Med treated her on the scene. He said he had transported her to Kiaat Private Hospital where she later died.

A friend identified her as local resident, Letisia Niemann.

SAPS spokesman, Capt Zandile Gqawa, could not be reached for comment.

BCJ urged any witnesses to come forward with information to assist in the investigation, by contacting 082-567-5212.
