Pumas welcome ISG, 2019 kit revealed

The sponsorship will contribute towards the ongoing development of the players and the team will be called the ISG Pumas.

CEO of ISG, Arnoux Maré, said his company and its subsidiaries form a prominent part of the business community around the country, with firm roots in Mpumalanga.

“South African sport is close to our hearts and we see the sponsorship of the country’s youngest team as the perfect opportunity to show our support to one of SA’s most beloved sports.”

“We are excited that our name will feature on the Pumas sports gear and at major games across the country. They are a talented team of players, who feature significantly in the Premier Division of the Currie Cup and the SuperSport Challenge. Their recent success in 2018 is evident of their tactical brilliance on the field,” added Maré.

Director of rugby, Jimmy Stonehouse thanked all parties involved. “You make a massive difference. Finally, we would like to reveal our new 2019 kit, designed and manufactured by Volcano Sports, our new kit sponsor, proudly displaying all our ISG Pumas partners logos and our new heraldic badge celebrating our 50 years of Pumas rugby.”

“It was a tough year and next year will be even more challenging. We are a small team with a big heart. I will never stop until we make the semi-finals of the Currie Cup. In 2019 I pledge that we will make it.”

The ISG Pumas’ first official match in their newly branded kit will take place on April 27, 2019.
